Quiet Student. Noisy School.
Project AbstractSAR High School is an open school with a focus on group work and dialogue. How can we better address the needs and development of quiet, introverted students? These are the kind of questions Susan Cain addresses in her book, Quiet. Modeling Cain’s research, we developed a range of suggested best practices through our interviews with students, feedback from teachers, and institutional data. Our hope is to bring awareness to teachers and educate them to better accommodate introverts.
